The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the names of 17 victims of the March 22 Oso mudslide that it has positively identified.
Victims’ families have been notified in person before this list was made public. Through the Medical Examiner’s Office, a chaplain and sheriff’s deputy are providing resources for families in their time of need.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has received a total of 24 victims from the Oso mudslide, has positively identified 17, and is working diligently on identifying the remaining victims. They are working closely with the families and extend their most heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends during this difficult time.
