Accused child molester on the run from Snohomish Sheriff’s Office

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a 31-year-old Arlington man awaiting trial on a first-degree child molestation charge.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating Ricky Dean Lookingback, a 31-year-old Arlington area man awaiting trial on a first-degree child molestation charge involving a relative.

Lookingback was wearing an electronic home monitoring device at a residence in the 18800 block of Smokey Point Blvd.

Late Saturday night, May 31, he cut off his monitoring bracelet and left the home. Deputies have searched the area and have talked to his friends and family – including relatives in South Dakota, where he is from – but have not found him yet.

The victim and the victim’s family have been notified. Detectives cannot release many details about the case since it is pending trial.

Lookingback is not a registered sex offender. He has prior felony convictions, mostly for drug offenses and mostly out of South Dakota.

He is not believed to be a danger to the community at large. Still, the Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.

A $250,000 warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Lookingback is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
