Arlington’s Daniel Smith was two-for-three, hitting a double and an RBI. MG’s Collin Montez was two-for-two with a double and an RBI. Arlington improved to 7-3 and dropped MG to 2-8.

EVERETT — Cascade Conference baseball powerhouse Archbishop Murphy beat Lakewood 13-5 April 13, and 10-4 April 11 at Lakewood. Cougar Kameron Furseth was two-for-three at the plate hitting a triple and an RBI April 13. Lakewood’s record dropped to 3-8.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington girls tennis team defeated Oak Harbor 5-2 April 13. Arlington’s winners were: Singles—Livia Markwart, 7-6 (4) and 6-1; Aleida Garduno-Craviato, 6-1 and 6-2; and Lily Craviato, 6-1 and 6-2. Doubles—Gigi Moss and Sierra Roach, 6-2 and 6-1; Demi Catwright and Bethany Barnett, 6-0 and 6-1. Arlington’s record is 7-1.

ARLINGTON — Arlington’s Shyne McKay was two-for-four, hitting a triple and four RBI in her softball team’s win over Lynnwood 9-4 April 13. Arlington’s record improved to 4-6.

STANWOOD — The Arlington boys golf team placed second out of seven teams with a score of 275 at the Wesco 3A North Tournament at Kayak Point Golf Course April 12.

Arlington’s Connor Stephens scored a 48, tying with Oak Harbor’s Haven Brown, and behind Stanwood’s Quinton Borseth’s 47, who medaled. Marysville-Pilchuck placed third with a score of 303 with Nathan Venables scoring a 50. Marysville Getchell was sixth with 323. MG’s Justin Good scored a 59.

Arlington was also sixth out of 18 teams with a score of 335 at the Tom Dolan Invitational at the Everett Country Club April 11. Stephens led his team with a 77 over 18 holes. M-P placed 16th with a score of 366 with Justin Trueax leading his team with an 83.
