ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is inviting all area business owners to a drug and crime awareness seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6-7 p.m. in the Arlington City Council Chambers, located at 110 E. Third St.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is inviting all area business owners to a drug and crime awareness seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6-7 p.m. in the Arlington City Council Chambers, located at 110 E. Third St.

The topics of discussion are set to include:

• Problem areas in downtown Arlington.

• Illegal drugs that are on the rise.

• Steps to reduce crime for your business.

• Business owner and manager monthly meetings.

An open discussion will follow, so Arlington Police encourage attendees to bring their own questions and concerns.

Arlington Police hope to see as many attendees as possible, since the community is experiencing some disturbing trends that require everyone’s cooperation.
