An Arlington man has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography after detectives were tipped off by his brother, according to authorities.

ARLINGTON — An Arlington man has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography after detectives were tipped off by his brother, according to authorities.

Christopher D. Doggett, 31, was arrested Friday, Jan. 22, on suspicion of child pornography.

According to court documents, Doggett’s older brother noticed that Doggett had a number of sexually explicit photos of minors on his computer.

Doggett’s brother notified Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies on Jan. 12, and authorities obtained a search warrant on Jan. 21 to search Doggett’s parents’ home in the 22000 block of 123rd Avenue.

Detectives seized Doggett’s computer, a number of CDs and DVDs and photographs of suspected minors engaged in sexual acts.

The man was booked into Snohomish County Jail, and his bail was set at $25,000, according to officials.
