Arlington Police investigating bank robbery

Arlington Police are investigating a reported bank robbery that occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m., Sept. 8, at the Union Bank in the 500 block of North Olympic Avenue in Arlington.

ARLINGTON – Arlington Police are investigating a reported bank robbery that occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m., Sept. 8, at the Union Bank in the 500 block of North Olympic Avenue in Arlington.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20s, approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall and weighing between 150 and 170 lbs. The suspect had very short brown hair with a distinct receding hairline described as a “widow’s peak”, short brown chin-only goatee style beard, and hoop earrings in both ears. The suspect was wearing a black baggy “pleather” zip-up jacket with collar, a white and dark blue striped long sleeve button-up collared shirt, baggy blue jeans with black belt with silver buckle, and black tennis shoes.

The male successfully provided a demand note and left with the cash. The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot. Arlington Police officers and a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit searched the immediate area, but did not locate the suspect.
