Arlington Police looking for daytime burglar caught on video

SMOKEY POINT — Arlington Police Detectives are asking the community for help in identifying a daytime burglar in the Smokey Point Area.

SMOKEY POINT — Arlington Police Detectives are asking the community for help in identifying a daytime burglar in the Smokey Point Area.

The burglary suspect was caught on a home surveillance video on Friday, Feb. 14, between 9-9:30 a.m. in the 17700 block of 43rd Avenue NE, just west of the Arlington Municipal Airport.

He spent about half an hour at the site, taking electronics, computers, power tools, landscaping tools and two 21-speed bicycles, all of which he loaded into a homeowner’s 2009 Toyota truck and left. The truck has since been recovered, but the rest of the belongings have not yet been located.
