ARLINGTON — In a multiple-agency effort, the Arlington Police Department, the Snohomish County Regional Drug and Gang Task Force, and the Violent Offender Task Force served a search warrant on Friday, Jan. 10, on a single-family house in the 500 block of N. MacLeod Ave. in Arlington.

In the course of serving the search warrant, officers took six people into custody for a variety of offenses, including warrants, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and the sale of illegal drugs.

The home and its occupants had been under surveillance by Arlington Police and other law enforcement agencies, after neighbors notified the city of a significant amount of unusual activity, including excessive foot traffic to and from the house, loitering in and around the house, frequent and unusual traffic patterns, and vehicle traffic frequently stopping for a resident to come out and talk briefly with the occupants of the vehicle.
