Arlington School District asks parents to complete survey

ARLINGTON — The Arlington School District asking parents to fill out a form that will help obtain federal funding for school equipment and tutoring.

Parents are being encouraged to complete an Impact Aid parent survey form for each of their children in the school district.

Information the district obtains from the forms are used to determine the allotment of federal funds from the Impact Aid Program.

The program provides monetary assistance to districts who have children residing on Indian lands, military bases, low-rent housing properties or other federal properties, as well as children who have parents in the uniformed services, according to a memo sent out to parents.

Forms are available at www.asd.wednet.edu, or by calling the Arlington School District at 360-618-6200.

The forms can be returned to children’s individual schools, or by mail at Arlington School District, Attn: Financial Services Office, 315 N. French Ave., Arlington, WA 98223.
