Oak tree planting

On May 9, at 10 a.m. at Kiwanis Park, the Marysville Kiwanis Club will be honoring the memory of Kenneth Joseph Ploeger (1940-2007) with the planting of an oak tree and a memorial plaque dedicated to Kens’ memory.

Ken was very active with the Kiwanis and to the community. His life goals and the goals of the Kiwanis, to serve our community and the children of our community, as well as the larger community and the children of the world, were very closely aligned.

The Marysville Kiwanis club would welcome all community members who would like to participate in our memorial for Ken to join us. Ken has gone to Rest in the Lord. He leaves a big space in our lives as a husband, father, brother and friend. He was our mighty Oak tree, may he rest in peace.
