Kloz 4 Kidz

Marysville United Methodist Church sponsors Marysville’s “Kloz 4 Kidz.” This is a free clothing center for the kids of Marysville who are in need. Appointments are requested by phone 360-659-8521.

Free Breakfast

A Free Breakfast is served each Wednesday from 8 – 10 a.m. at Hosanna Christian Fellowship, 401 N. Dunham, in Arlington. All are welcome. This breakfast program is provided by four community churches. Anyone wishing to help with this program should call 360-403-0995.

ZUMBA!

Ditch the workout and join the party with Zumba! This energizing class will help you build muscle, burn fat and have a great time in this high energy dance fitness class. Classes are Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-8pm at Marysville Middle School. Classes are $40 for the month one day a week or $60 for the month two days a week. Kindermusik

Registration

Marysville Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for Winter Kindermusik classes. Kindermusik is for newborns up to the age of 7. A variety of classes are offered for the different age groups on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Class times and costs vary according to the specific class. In every class, parents will witness their child’s developmental evolution in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality. This wonderful learning environment is nurturing, full of energy, imagination, music, dancing, and playful delight. For the youngest children Kindermusik Village is designed to provide families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. Village will educate you about your baby’s unique development and each rich class experience fills baby’s senses. We’ll hammock, shake bells, dance, explore drums, snuggle during a lullaby, and peek-a-boo with scarves. For registration information, please call Marysville Parks and Recreation at 360-363-8400.

Digital Darkroom 2

Local professional photographer Kent Baker shares his expertise in the area of digital photography in the class Digital Darkroom 2. If you are familiar with Photoshop Elements 6 and want to learn more this is a wonderful opportunity to delve into the ‘Organizer’ portion of Elements. This four day class begins February 23rd. Class will be held from 7-9pm at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn. The registration fee is $75. Fundamental Yoga

Whether a beginner or experienced in yoga, certified instructors Angela and Jennifer Neeleman will help you get to the next step in your physical development. Classes are offered from 6:30pm-7:45pm on Tuesdays or 6pm-7:15pm Thursdays at Ken Baxter Senior/Community Center. 10 visit punch cards are available for $80 and 5 visit punch cards are $45. Worm Composting for the Family

Learn to compost as a family! Join this informative class on worm composting and learn how to begin you own compost at home. This workshop will take place from 1-3pm on Saturday, February 21st at Jennings Memorial Park Barn. The cost is $20 for parent and child. Fat Tuesday with Ciscoe!

Peace Lutheran Church, 1717 Larson Road in Silvana invites you to come join them and well-known gardener, Ciscoe Morris, on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. Ciscoe will be sharing stories and answering all of your gardening questions as well as signing copies of his book, “Ask Ciscoe.” As a fundraising event to help some of our local residents recover from January’s flood, donations will be taken during the program. ‘Fat Tuesday’ desserts will be served to top off the evening.
