Death of Arlington man being investigated

ARLINGTON — The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man who was living in a tent on his parents' property when a tree fell on the tent.

ARLINGTON — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was living in a tent on his parents’ property when a tree fell on the tent.

A relative had called 911 around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, after she noticed the tree on the tent at the 12000 block of 158th Street NE, near Arlington, and was concerned.

When responders arrived, they found a deceased male inside the tent, and at this time, it’s assumed to be the body of the 25-year-old man living there.

As of 4:58 p.m. on Nov. 20, fire department personnel were on their way to assist with removing debris from the area.

The cause and manner of the man’s death, as well as identification of the deceased, is pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
