Dye-covered bank robber on the loose

SMOKEY POINT As of press time, Arlington Police are still searching for the suspect in a June 15 bank robbery in Smokey Point.
The robbery occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Northwest Credit Union, located in the 17100 block of Smokey Point Boulevard, and the suspect wore a ski mask and implied there was a weapon.
The suspect is a white male adult, with a thin build and long dirty blond hair. The suspects face and hands are believed to be stained with red dye, because the dye pack hidden within the stolen money exploded after the suspect left the bank.
Arlington Police officers were on scene within one minute of the 9-1-1 call and began an immediate search for the suspect. Police have recovered the ski mask and the dye pack, with an undisclosed amount of money, but the suspect has not yet been located.
Arlington Police have received assistance from the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office and the Marysville Police Department in searching for the suspect.
