ARLINGTON The city of Arlington Fire Departments annual Santa Run and food drive is scheduled to start Dec. 10 and run through Dec. 19, from 7-9 p.m. each night.
However, due to the increase in the citys population, Arlington Fire Department firefighter and spokesperson Harold Smith reported that many streets may not be covered during this years event, and we apologize for that.
Once the routes for the Santa Run have been determined, they will be posted on the city of Arlingtons Web site, at www.ci.arlington.wa.us. Those who wish to inquire further may call the Arlington Fire Department, at 360-403-3600, for more information.

Santa Run Schedule

Dec. 10: Haller area south to Third Street, including Park Hill Drive, Fifth Street and Robin Hood Drive.
Dec. 11: Third Street south to Highland Drive, and Cobb Street to Maple Street, including the 87th Avenue area.
Dec. 12: Kent Prairie and Jensen Farm, including Twin Ponds Apartments, Jensen Street and Kona Crest.
Dec. 13: Crown Ridge and Magnolia Estates west to Edgecomb.
Dec. 14: East Gleneagle.
Dec. 15: West Gleneagle.
Dec. 16: Highland View Estates, Airway Mobile Park, and the mobile home parks along 67th Avenue.
Dec. 17: Smokey Point Naval housing, behind the Post Office, and the east side of Smokey Point Boulevard, from 172nd to 188th.
Dec. 18: West side of Smokey Point Boulevard, from 172nd to 188th, and the new developments along 47th Avenue, from 188th to Cemetery Road.
Dec. 19: High Clover Park and Cemetery Road to 67th Avenue.
