LAKEWOOD — Lakewood School District Superintendent Dr. Dennis Haddock has announced his plans to retire before the close of the current school year.
This marks his 33rd year of service in K-12 public education, the last nine of which he has served with the Lakewood School District.
Haddock’s last work day with the district will be April 18, given his plans to use his vacation leave this spring.
Dr. Michael Mack has been appointed as the district’s interim superintendent for this spring, to help ensure continuity for the close of the school year.
The Lakewood School District Board of Directors will be seeking qualified candidates to apply for the opening, and are currently working to finalize the process and timelines.
