State Rep. Dave Hayes is inviting citizens from the 10th District to join him for a telephone town hall meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

State Rep. Dave Hayes is inviting citizens from the 10th District to join him for a telephone town hall meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The program is similar to a call-in radio show, in which people may call and ask questions over the telephone, and participate in surveys.

“There are many issues under discussion right now at the state Capitol, and we’re going to be taking a lot of votes that could affect people across the state and within the 10th District. Before I cast those votes, I want to hear from the folks back home,” said Hayes, R-Camano Island. “This is a convenient way to hold a community conversation with people throughout the district, because they can participate from the comfort of their own homes.”

Citizens may participate in the event by dialing toll-free at 1-800-213-7860.

“I encourage people to pick up the phone and become a part of our conversation,” Hayes said.
