ARLINGTON – A Snohomish County deputy prosecutor said Monday that a now 35-year-old Arlington woman arrested last summer on suspicion of various sex crimes with minors will have her day in court.

“I guarantee you charges will be filed,” Lyndi Stone said. There have been some difficulties collecting evidence as some of the victims have moved out of state. “There’s a lot to sort out,” she said.

The woman turned herself in to Arlington police Aug. 2. When the woman was arrested, her mother said she has been suicidal recently, police reports say.

The woman was released on $25,000 bail, but no-contact orders were put in place for the three alleged victims. Two boys, now ages 16 and 18, and one girl, now 20, said the sexual abuse had gone on for years. As per newspaper policy, the woman will not be identified until charged in court. But the alleged offenses occurred on Crown Ridge Boulevard.

Court papers say the woman is being investigated for rape, child rape, molestation and indecent liberties. She also is accused of possessing child pornography, communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and distributing narcotics to a minor.

Police records say one boy, now 16, was 14 when the woman allegedly started having sexual contact with him and gave him Oxycontin. At first she texted him pictures of her family. Later, she sent him pictures of her breasts and over the next two years sent him about 150 photos of her. Reports go on to say he was at her house for “Movie Night” with his two younger sisters. When the two girls fell asleep, the boy and woman allegedly touched each other sexually, and she performed oral sex on him.

Later they started having sexual relations – he lost his virginity in a closet, he told police. He started skipping school at age 15 so they could be together. She made him have sex with her by giving him Oxycotin and pot, he told police. Although they tried to hide it sometimes other children were in the room.

The boy said he started to hate himself because he didn’t want to have sex until he was married. “I’m very strongly emotionally affected by this,” he told police. “I hate being sad and depressed.”

Police told him counseling could help and gave his mom a pamphlet for such services.

Because of this experience, he said all he wants is sex, and girls don’t like him as a result. The boy told police he had intercourse with the woman about a dozen times and oral sex about 30 times.

Police say the boy’s parents showed them 10 pictures of the woman exposing herself in photos sent to the boy that they saved on Verizon Cloud as evidence. Others verified that they had seen photos of her. A search warrant showed that the woman did have photos that the boy had sent to her of him naked.

Another alleged victim is a girl who started babysitting for the woman at age 13. She is now 20 and married.

When the girl was 15, she said she and the woman were “attached at the hip,” and the woman called the girl her “best friend.” The girl now says she knows she was being manipulated. The girl said she didn’t listen to her parents, who told her the relationship was inappropriate.

The girl said the woman tried to set her up with older men who could support her. Police reports go on to say that the girl said the woman gave her alcohol and when she was intoxicated the woman had the girl take her shirt off and took pictures. Other pictures also were taken of body parts and them kissing. The pictures were sent to men, the girl told police. A video of her dancing in her underwear also was made. The woman also would touch her private parts, police allege. The woman reportedly also would invite the girl to adult parties in which she was the only juvenile there, and they would get intoxicated.

The woman called herself the “The Fun Mom” and asked the girl to “keep this between us. It’ll be our dirty little secret,” the girl told police.

They would watch the Disney channel together, and the woman would call the boys “scrumptious.” She would say she “needs to get herself a pretty boy,” the girl told police. The girl also told police she saw the woman have sex with men, and she took nude photos of the girl and sent them electronically to a man. Another alleged victim, now 18, said the woman took her top off in front of him, and there were also naked pictures, but no physical contact. Police say his comments add credibility to the other victims’ reports.
