OLYMPIA — State Rep. Dan Kristiansen is inviting citizens from throughout the 39th Legislative District to join him for a telephone town hall meeting on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The program is similar to a call-in radio show, during which people may call and ask questions over the telephone, and participate in surveys.

“We’ve just finished the first month of a scheduled 105-day session, and will soon be voting on the House floor on issues that will affect the citizens back home in the 39th District. I’m interested in hearing from people and listening to their comments,” said Kristiansen, R-Snohomish. “These telephone town hall meetings are a great way to reach out across the district and give people a convenient way to communicate from the comfort of their homes.”

Citizens may participate in the event by dialing, toll-free, 1-877-229-8493, and entering the PIN code 15786 when prompted.

“I encourage folks to pick up the phone and get involved in our community conversation,” Kristiansen said.
