From left, Emmett Wild, Nikolay Borisov, Morgan Stewart, of Lakewood High School, Tara Smith, of Stanwood High School, and Aimee Schoonover, of Marysville-Pilchuck High School, all received $1,000 scholarships from the Lake Goodwin Community Club. The club is now planning its big fundraiser for next year’s scholarships. It will be a garage sale with crafts and baked goods, a silent auction, and lunch, at the club house at 17323 42nd St. NW, east of the Lake Goodwin Road.
