Marysville police seek help in finding robber

MARYSVILLE – Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a robber.

On Dec. 4 at about 3 a.m. a man entered the 7-11 at 10013 Shoultes Road and robbed them at gunpoint. He demanded money to be placed in a white Bank of America money pouch. He was wearing a blue polo jacket with red strings, dark pants and dark tennis shoes with a light-colored stripe in front. He was armed with a black semiautomatic pistol with a laser mounted below the barrel.

Cmdr. Mark Thomas said the robbery has some unusual elements to it.

“This suspect came into the 7-11 and racked a round into the chamber of their semiautomatic handgun. That in of itself is an unusual action, and demonstrates to law enforcement an elevated act of aggression during the commission of their crime.” he said. “We would very much like to identify this person and take them into custody before anybody is injured by their reckless and aggressive actions.”
