M’ville council has busy agenda tonight (Dec. 1)

MARYSVILLE – The Marysville-Tulalip Chamber of Commerce annual report is one of the items on the City Council's agenda for Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

MARYSVILLE – The Marysville-Tulalip Chamber of Commerce annual report is one of the items on the City Council’s agenda for Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Other items on the agenda include:

• Agreement with the city and Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for $59,332.

• Extending contract for two months for Mike Reynolds, pro shop supervisor for Cedarcrest Golf Course.

• Renewing contract with Yakima jail for inmates. Yakima will provide transport and house prisoners for $54.75 a day.

• Consider hiring Strategies 360, Inc. for consulting services related to federal and state government. The consultants would focus on train transport and grants from the feds, and capital projects, transportation and tax exemptions for new manufacturing businesses with state government.

• The council also will look at school impact fees, amending the budget for 2014 and continuing to impose a sales and use tax.
