SMOKEY POINT — Those filing their income tax returns by mail this year shouldn’t expect to have extended hours at the post offices in Arlington, Smokey Point or Marysville.

The Arlington Post Office, located at 524 N. Olympic Ave., is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, but is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Its phone number is 360-435-6273.

The Smokey Point Post Office, located at 3621 168th St. NE, is open from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, but is closed on Sundays. Its phone number is 360-658-9788.

The Marysville Post Office, located at 1010 State Ave., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, but is closed on Sundays. Its phone number is 360-653-6379.

Any mail which is dropped off at a post office location after it has closed for the day will not be processed that day.

The deadline to film income tax returns this year is Tuesday, April 17.
