SMOKEY POINT — On July 16, a measure to establish a memorial honoring the late Arlington-born civic leader Oliver “Punks” Smith was finally passed.
The American Red Cross is looking for “real heroes,” who live or work in Snohomish County, to honor at their Real Heroes Breakfast in December. Nominees must have performed a heroic act between Oct. 6, 2007 and Oct. 6, 2008.
