ARLINGTON The body of an elderly man and the 2001 Chevrolet Impala belonging to 85-year-old Jack Francis Roys of Arlington were found Aug. 12 in a wooded area along Main Line Road in unincorporated Arlington by two bear hunters.

Volunteers remodel playground

ARLINGTON The Arlington American Legion Post 76 Toys for Kids program gave more than 300 local children some presents to put under their trees this year, as volunteers set out tables full of toys, clothes and other gift items for area food bank families Dec. 15.
ARLINGTON Close to three dozen area families received support from regional law enforcement, military members, businesses and other organizations during the Fraternal Order of Polices fourth-annual Shop with a Cop program in Snohomish County.
