ARLINGTON Post Middle School scored nearly $3,000 from Safeway and its shoppers this past fall, and the Post Parent Teacher Student Association commemorated this with Arlington Safeway employees, May 16.

ARLINGTON Art supporters of Arlington enjoyed a fun evening that raised approximately $6,000 for public art in Arlington at the fourth annual Fall into Art Auction presented by the Arlington Arts Council Oct. 21. The auction last year raised $2,500.
SMOKEY POINT Food, music, valuables up for bid, and inspiring stories of overcoming obstacles were all available at the Smokey Point Community Church Oct. 20, when Village Community Services kicked off their fourth-annual Taste of Decadence fundraiser.
SMOKEY POINT As of press time, Arlington Police are still searching for the suspect in the carjacking and kidnapping that occurred in Smokey Point Oct. 18, but the two Marysville children in the car were found safe and sound in their hometown the next day by a trio of attentive but surprised machinists.

LYNNWOOD The Lynwood-based Progressive Animal Welfare Society has made a mission out of caring for wild and companion animals throughout unincorporated Snohomish County, and on Nov. 4, both children and their parents or guardians will be able to get an inside glimpse on how PAWS accomplishes its goals, in addition to performing a few volunteer projects for the non-profit organization.
