ARLINGTON All in the name of customer service, the city of Arlington has rearranged City Hall.
ARLINGTON Two Arlington High School seniors were among the 606 high school seniors across the country, and beyond, to be deemed outstanding writers by the National Council of Teachers of English 2006 Achievement Awards in Writing, with of a pool of 2,080 students nominated from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, the Virgin Islands and American schools abroad.

ARLINGTON Its the value of the performing arts for students as well as for the community that inspired the Arlington School Board to decide at its regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, Oct. 9, to go forward with the completion of the Arlington High Schools performing arts center, even though the cost is more than $400,000 higher than expected. This final, third stage, includes all the finishing details that make the theater operational pulleys, lights, curtain, sound system, acoustics, seats and carpet.
ARLINGTON The city of Arlington will conduct its public hearing on the 2007 property tax levy during its Nov. 6 City Council meeting at 7 p.m., with its public hearing on the 2007 city budget to follow Dec. 4.

MARYSVILLE Residents near the new Lakewood Crossing shopping center are livid over traffic in the northern part of town and are demanding changes to nearby residential streets swamped with cars during the weekend shopping rush. Many say that traffic will not let them out of their neighborhoods during peak shopping times.
