Five generations of family from Arlington gathered on Easter Sunday to take a picture with great-great-grandmother down to the newest born family member. Juanita Dolly Lyon, her daughter Cheri Johnsen; her daughter, Nichole Stinson, her daughter, Caitlin Caiti Woods, and Caitlins son, Keith Hunter-Wesley Woods, named after his great-grandfather and two great-great-grandfathers. The large extended family can boast of relatives as far back as seven maternal generations in the Arlington area, both of Holland-Dutch and Norwegian decent. Many of the family names are families to long time residence and include some of the following: Nikes, Otter, Tanis, Klein and Jacobson. Juanita Jacobson-Lyon is the daughter of Katherine Tanis-Jacobson who passed away in 1935. Caitlin Caiti Woods is named after her great-great-grandmother whom they called Katie. Juanitas aunt, Carolyn Stensrud turned 91 this month. Carolyn was very close to her sister Katherine and has always been endeared by all these women and is lovingly referred to as Aunti.
