ARLINGTON — A building seen for years as an eyesore is set to be revitalized with the rest of the city’s downtown.
Principal Ed Aylesworth was the perfect person to recognize the historical significance of Trafton School Friday, April 18, when school district officials and friends gathered to honor the designation of the school as an historical site.
SMOKEY POINT — Many patrons of the Smokey Point Red Robin restaurant were surprised to see their waiters wearing a slightly different uniform, and police officers from Arlington, Marysville and Lake Stevens got a chance to walk in somebody else’s shoes, all on behalf of charity.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY COUNCIL
ARLINGTON — Jim Kelly expects a constructed stormwater wetland will help the city of Arlington enhance the quality of water in the Stillaguamish River. It will also help meet the environmental and education efforts required by the state’s recently enacted stormwater program. The Washington State Department of Ecology is kicking in some funding to help the city out with the project.
