ARLINGTON — Those who take a test drive at Rairdon’s Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located at 16610 Smokey Point Blvd. in Arlington, between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, will be helping to support the Arlington High School chapter of Future Farmers of America.
This event is part of a national day of test drive fundraising events, at participating dealerships across the country, in celebration of the future of agriculture. The monies raised will go to the national FFA organization, in support of its local FFA chapter leadership programs.
For each test drive completed during the fundraiser, the Ram truck brand will donate $20 to FFA, or up to $2,000. Rairdon will have the new Ram 1500, Motor Trend’s back-to-back “Truck of the Year,” and a full line of Ram trucks available for participants to drive. Volunteers from the dealership and the AHS FFA will be on hand to assist during the event. Anyone who’s 18 years or older, with a valid driver’s license, may drive and earn a donation.
“Together with Rairdon’s Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we hope to raise up to $2,000 in one day,” AHS FFA advisor Tracy Brown said. “This is a great opportunity for our friends and family to lend their support, without having to reach into their own pockets. One hundred percent of the Ram truck donation goes directly to FFA leadership programs. Everyone is invited to come out and join us at the dealership. Take a short test drive, in the Ram truck of your choice, and help raise money for the next crop of farmers and leaders in the agriculture community.”
All test drive participants will also be entered into the 2014 Chrysler Group National Giveaway, for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler Group vehicle.
