Snohomish County Elections has released preliminary results for the Nov. 3 general election. The results will be updated again at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4

In the Snohomish County Council race for District 1, incumbent John Koster is leading with 11,016 votes, 55.60 percent, over challenger Ellen Hiatt Watson who has 8,722 votes or 44.02 percent.

For Superior Court Position 2 Joe Wilson has 31,147 votes, 39.94 percent; David Hulbert has 12,599 votes, 16.16 percent; Rico Tessandore has 23,010 votes, 29.51 percent; Scott Peterson has 6,516 votes, 8.36 percent; and Scott Lord has 4,249 votes and 5.45 percent.

For Arlington City Council, For Position 1, Steve Baker is running unopposed and has 1,814 votes for 98.16 percent. For Position 2 Chris Raezer is running unopposed and has 1,705 votes for 98.10 percent. For City Council Position 3, Scott Solla has 1,407 votes for 69.90 percent and Brock Hecla has 598 votes for 29.71 percent. For the At-Large Position, Linda Byrnes is leading with 1,248 votes, 59.17 percent over Graham Smith who has 854 votes for 40.49 percent.

For the Arlington School Board, Director District 3 Ursula Ghirardo is running unopposed with 3,359 votes, 98.02 percent. For District 5 Bob McClure has 2,237 votes, 58.07 percent, and leads Jim O’Day 1,591 voters, 41.30 percent.

For the Marysville City Council Position 1, Jeffrey Vaughan is running unopposed and has 3,392 votes, 98.15 percent. For Position 2, incumbent Donna Wright leads with 2,346 votes, 59.71 percent over Quinn King who has 1,566 votes, 39.86 percent. Position 3 has incumbent Jeff Seibert leading with 2,084 votes, 53.61 percent over Patrick Larson Jr. with 1,782 votes, 45.85 percent. Jon Nehring is running unopposed for Postion 4 and has 3,369 votes, 98.42 percent.

For Marysville School District Director District 1 Chris Nation has 4,363, 59.26 percent and leads Heather Thweatt who has 2,956 votes, 40.15 percent. Michael Kundu is running unopposed for Director District 4 and has 5,939 votes, 96.87 percent.

For Marysville Municipal Court Fred Gillings is running unopposed and has 3,325 votes for 98.81 percent.

In the Lakewood School District Director District 1 Oscar Escalante is running unopposed with 1,490 votes, 96.88 percent. Ken Christiansen is running unopposed for Director District 3 and has 1,536 votes, 98.15 percent.

In the race for Hospital Distrcit 3 Commissioner Position 3, Margo Powell has 2,640, 57.74 percent over Jeff Cartwright who has 1,918 votes, 41.95 percent.

The Sno-Isle Library District Levy has 36,893 approve votes, 51.34 percent, and 34,961 votes, 48.66 percent reject votes.
