Suspect arrested in Arlington commercial burglaries

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is forwarding charges to the Snohomish County Prosecutor for a 44-year-old Mount Vernon man who was arrested by Bellingham Police on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in connection with a series of burglaries at a number of businesses in Bellingham.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is forwarding charges to the Snohomish County Prosecutor for a 44-year-old Mount Vernon man who was arrested by Bellingham Police on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in connection with a series of burglaries at a number of businesses in Bellingham.

The Mount Vernon man is believed to be the same suspect sought by Arlington Police in a series of commercial burglaries reported in Arlington between Jan. 9-16, and has even admitted his involvement in several of those Arlington business burglaries.

The suspect has been booked into Whatcom County Jail on a number of charges, including burglary in the second degree, malicious mischief and theft. Additional criminal violations are expected to be filed.
