TULALIP – It has been well-documented over the years how teachers often pay for school supplies out of their own pockets.
Well, a teacher at Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary may have found a solution to that, or at least a way to get some help.
Cayla Paustain has created a classroom project request on a charity website.
Paustain says any tax-deductible donation of any size will help – especially this week, when each gift amount will be doubled by the organization Donors Choose.
Just go to the teacher’s page at www.donorschoose.org/ms.paustain, choose one of her projects, enter the amount of the gift and click “give.” At checkout, enter the word SPARK where it says “promo or gift code,” and the donation will be matched up to $100.
