UPDATE | Four transported to hospital after two-car accident near Arlington, Highway 9 now open

On April 13 at approximately 3 p.m., emergency personnel from Arlington Fire and Arlington Police were dispatched to a reported injury and accident on Highway 9, south of the 204th Street NE intersection.

UPDATE | According to Kristin Banfield, assistant city administrator for the city of Arlington, Highway 9 was reopened just before 6 p.m.

ARLINGTON – On April 13 at approximately 3 p.m., emergency personnel from Arlington Fire and Arlington Police were dispatched to a reported injury and accident on Highway 9, south of the 204th Street NE intersection.

Four patients, including two men and two women, were transported to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington for treatment.

As of press time, Arlington Police are on scene investigating the cause of the crash. Highway 9 between 204th Street NE and Eaglefield Drive in Arlington is closed to through traffic. Detours are in place. The closure is expected to continue until at least 5:30 p.m.

Arlington Fire was assisted on scene by Fire Protection District 19 of Silvana, Marysville Fire and North County Regional Fire Authority.
