As of Thursday, Aug. 2, Waste Management Northwest and union leadership have agreed to a new six-year contract, which means that Waste Management Northwest’s garbage drivers have returned to work and are servicing their regular collection routes. Due to the timing of the ratification vote, however, the recycling and yard waste collection for Aug. 2 will be limited.

All Waste Management Northwest residential and commercial customers in Marysville and Arlington should place all of their regularly scheduled carts out for collection, and set out and/or unlock their containers as they normally would on service days.
