Anne Marie Jones, 66, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in Darrington, Wash.
She was born to General George Washington and Nellie Lowe on July 6, 1941, in Bryson City, N.C.
Annes life was her family. She enjoyed helping at community dinners and services. Anne was a faithful, caring loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was always ready to spend time with her grandkids.
Preceding Anne in death were her parents; brother, Douglas Lowe; and grandson, Derek Glen Allen.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Billy Jones, of Darrington; children, Danny (Pamela) Jones, of Arlington, Wash.; Tim (Sherri) Jones, of Dallas, N.C.; Gary (Anji) Jones, of Bellingham, Wash.; and Karen (David) Allen, of Arlington; siblings, Clifford Lowe, of Georgia, Therman (Linda) Lowe, of Hilldebrand, N.C.; H.L. (June) Lowe, of Bryson City, N.C.; Helen Boone, of Cantler, N.C.; Ruby (Fred) Jones, of Whittier, N.C. Rachel (Harrison) Messer, of Bryson City and Jean Davis of Bryson City; and 10 grandchildren.
Viewing was held from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Weller Funeral Home, Arlington, Wash. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Darrington. A graveside service followed at the Darrington Cemetery.
