Audrey Annie Britton, 72, of Arlington, Wash., passed away Oct.18, 2007, in Everett, Wash.
She was born to Howard and Marion Ames Sept. 23, 1935, in Black River, NY.
Audrey was known for her distinctive laugh and ability to make others laugh. She took pleasure in baking pies, making candy, completing puzzles and gaming at a local casino. Her family was her greatest joy, bringing them together for her baked delights on holidays and family occasions. She truly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding Audrey in death was her mother, Marion Ames.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul Britton Sr., of Arlington; father, Howard Ames, of Black River; sons, Paul (Judy) Britton Jr., of Arlington, and Danny (Wendy) Britton, of Arlington; daughter, Diane (Gene) Nunez, of Mounds, Okla.; brothers, Harry (Diane) Ames, of Carthage, NY, and Howie (Sandy) Ames, of Black River; grandchildren, Brandy, Heather, Amanda, Jason, Lisa, Brad, and Tanya; great-grandchildren, Dezirae, Dustin, Danika, Jacob, Lucas, Mackenzie, Matthew and Katie; and many other friends and family.
At Audreys request, there will be no service.
