Beverly Ann Steadman

Beverly Ann Steadman, of Lake Stevens, Wash., peacefully passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, after a long battle with COPD.
Beverly was born on June 5, 1943, in Snohomish, Wash.
Beverly started her professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She continued as an LPN until having children. She became a homemaker until 1978, at which time she began working for GTE. She continued working for GTE until her retirement in 1999.
Beverly had many favorite pastimes. Some of these included working in her yard, visiting with friends and family, playing with her grandsons and watching them participate in school activities and little league sports.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Irene and Les Nicholson; and sister, Betty Preuss.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Ernest of 41 years, and their two children, Shane (Monica) Steadman, of Lake Stevens, and Shawn Steadman, of Marysville, Wash. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Pugsley, of Bothell, Wash.; and three grandsons, Logan, Ryan and Benjamin Steadman; in addition to numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.
Beverly went by many names. Bev, Mom, Sister, Auntie B and Grammy. No matter what you called her, she will be remembered by all for her generous and loving spirit.
Per Beverlys wishes, graveside services will be held for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverlys name to your favorite charity.
