Bradley Paul Waugh

Bradley Paul Waugh passed away suddenly on the morning of May 10, 2007, while sitting on his balcony enjoying the sun and his morning coffee.
Brad grew up in Arlington, Wash., attending school in the Jim Creek area and graduating from Arlington High School.
Brad is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, James and Linda Waugh; his brother, Lawrence Waugh; and sister, Deanna Swanson. He also leaves behind his children, Brandi McGarry and her husband, Ryan McGarry, Angie Boomgaarden and her husband, Chuck Boomgaarden, Eric Waugh and Jeff Waugh. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Schayne and Tyller Boomgaarden and Jacob and Joshua Waugh. But he will be missed the most by his long time companion and best friend, his cat, Missy Baby Doll.
Brad worked for a number of years at Bayliner in Arlington. But it was at Everett Community College where he worked for almost 20 years until he retired early due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
Brad loved to get away from it all by going fishing and camping with his brother, Jim. He was an advocate for medical marijuana and he was for preserving the past by participating in the Freetrapper and Mountain Man Society.
His family would like to thank Bridget and everyone who works and lives at Bethany at Pacific Crest in Everett, for all of their compassion and help in our time of need. He was very happy while living there; he hadnt smiled or laughed like that in years. He had been very sick for a long time but when he moved there it was like we had our old Brad back.
His family had a private memorial where they shared sad and happy stories from the past. He was such a character and he made such an impression on so many people, especially his children. He taught us all that no matter how serious life was or is you still had to have a sense of humor and that laughter was a huge part of life.
He will be missed by those of us who truly love him for who and what he was and he always will be in our hearts and in our thoughts.
We love you.
