Charlotte Elizabeth Lohne

Charlotte Elizabeth Lohne, 62, of Arlington, Wash. passed away in Mount Vernon, Wash. Nov. 3, 2006.
She was born to Alfred and Orva Freestone on Jan. 14, 1944 in Mesa, Ariz.
Charlotte spent her growing up years in Arizona, graduating from Yuma High School in 1961. Soon after, Charlotte met the love of her live, marrying Arvid Nielsen Lohne in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple on June 4, 1964.
Over her life, Charlotte had many interests, including dancing, singing, sewing, cooking and candy making. She was a member of the International Folk Dancers at Brigham Young University, and the Yuma Country Cousins, who toured the country as well as Canada and Mexico. She was very involved in church work being a Temple Worker for the LDS church in Portland. She was a nurturing, loving and supportive mother and grandmother, and is known for being sensitive, strong willed and faithful.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Arvid; sons Erik Lohne and Richard Lohne; daughters, Kirsten Vanderwall, Lara Lohne, Kathy Lohne, Debi Albright and Julia Goodridge; brother, Clarence Freestone; and sister, Orva Jeanne Cluff; and 15 going on 18 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A viewing was held at 9 a.m., Thursday Nov. 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at State Route 530 & Arlington Heights Road. Funeral Services followed at 11 a.m., with burial at Arlington Cemetery.
