Claudia Ann Braun, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Marysville, Wash., April 15, 2007, surrounded by her immediate family.
She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Donald; son, Steven and his wife Kathy, of Snohomish, Wash.; son, Bruce, of Marysville; her sister, Judy and her husband David; and her brother, Paul and his wife Rhonda. Claudia also leaves behind her grandsons, Shawn Johnson, of Everett, Wash., Bryce Braun, of Everett, and Jared Braun, of Snohomish.
During the last two weeks of her illness, Claudia held close the Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
At her request, there will be no services. However, the family will hold a private ceremony to honor her life at a later date.
