David Rider, of Stanwood, Wash., died April 12, 2007.
He was born Dec. 11, 1936, in Seattle, Wash., and graduated from Roosevelt High in 1955.
He attended Everett and Olympic Community Colleges, and Seattle University, married Jan in 1960, with whom he had six children. The family home was in south Everett. He worked in public relations for title companies, including Everett Abstract and Title, and Pioneer Title in Seattle. He was active in the Jaycees in Everett and later in the Pt. Roberts Chamber of Commerce.
He was preceded in death by his three children, Maureen Rider, in 1990, Michelle Prather, in 1995, and Lane Rider, in 2001.
He is survived by his three children, Vance Rider, Britt Rider and Janel Wohlers; daughter-in-law, Stacey Rider; and five beautiful grandchildren, Grace Prather, Kali Hathaway and Gavin, Sierra and Maggie Jeanne Rider.
His funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2007, St Cecilia Catholic Church in Stanwood; with reception following and inurnment at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Everett.
