Denise Diane Mack

Denise Diane Mack, 46, of Marysville, Wash., passed away Jan. 23, 2007, after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1960, in Seattle, Wash., to Edmond and Tura (Littlefield) Yount. She grew up in Ephrata, Wash., and attended Central Washington University, where she met her husband, Joe. Denise graduated from Central with a BA in Education. They moved to Marysville to raise their family. She was a devoted wife and mother. Denise taught Special Education for the Marysville School District for several years.
Denise is survived by her husband, Joe, of 24 years; and their three daughters, Diane Marie, Sharon Elizabeth and Julianne Michelle; also by her parents, Ed and Tura of Ephrata; brothers, Scott and Lonnie Yount; sister, Shelly Young; and numerous other family members.
Visitation was from 3 – 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville. A Rosary service followed at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass was offered at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Marysville. Burial followed at St. Marys Cemetery.
