Donald (Don) Webb was born in Twisp, Wash., on March 14, 1932, to Walter and Hazel Fee (Webb). He grew up a true country boy and graduated from Twisp High School in 1950.
He enlisted in the Army in February of 1951 and served mostly in Japan until given an honorable discharge in February of 1954. Upon returning home, Don found himself in Los Angeles where he met and fell in love with Margot Martin.
They were married Aug. 18, 1956, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this last summer. Don and Margot lived in the Los Angeles area where Don went to college, worked and began raising four children. They later settled in Everett, Wash., where Don worked for the Tool Engineering Dept. at The Boeing Company for 21 years until retiring in 1992. After retiring, Don and Margot enjoyed traveling in their motor home in between their childrens homes in Washington, Crescent Bar, and relatives in Arizona. Don was very active in all his kids sports and activities. He loved camping and hunting in the Methow Valley which is where he felt at home.
Don leaves behind his wife, Margot Webb; sons, James (Sharol) of Arlington, and Thomas (Denise) of Lake Stevens; daughters, Lynnette (Jim) Couls of Marysville, Nancy (Doug) Caton of East Wenatchee; He is also survived by his brother, Ray (Beverly ) Webb of Moses Lake; sister, Claudine (Dan) Bertrand of East Wenatchee; brother-in-law, Alexander (Lee) Martin of Surprise, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; also their longtime, close and loving friends, Jack and Gloria Trevethan of Qunicy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
