Elaina Rae Hood

Our beloved Angel was a beautiful woman. Elaina Rae Hood was born July 5, 1960, to Rachel and Albert Hood Sr. in Oklahoma City, Okla.
She passed away on Nov. 10, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Honeykwa Williams; sons, Martin Williams, Kanoe Williams, Sully Williams, Clinton Williams, Owl Hood and Moses William; grandson, Jaidin Williams; sisters, Marya Hood and Mamie Oldham; brothers, Yamah Hood and Alonzo Hood. Also surviving are her aunts, April Smith, Vicki Tsoodle, Julie Moses, Teresa Whitish and Johanna Moses; and uncles, Raymond Moses, Danny Moses Sr. and Gilbert Moses Sr.
Elaina was preceded in death by her father, Albert Hood Sr.; brother, Albert Hood Jr.; uncle, Alonzo Hood; and grandparents, Marya Moses and Walter C. Moses Sr.
She was an excellent basketball and softball player. Her fast pitch was awed by the Indian Country. The Fawns and Renegadettes were two teams that had very exceptional players that were sometimes not invited back. Elaina had many friends from her trips to tournaments.
Her passion of the mountains came from her loving family (Moses), which later included routine trips for her. She loved all her aunts, uncles and cousins along with her friends she kept so dear.
A Funeral Service was held at 9 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Tulalip Tribal Center, 6700 Totem Beach RD., Tulalip burial followed in Darrington, Wash.
