Ellen Anna Carlson, 87, passed away May 15, 2007, in Arlington, Wash.
She was born to Stillaguamish Valley pioneers, Paul and Anna Wangsmo, Oct. 30, 1919, in Arlington.
Ellen graduated from Arlington High School in 1937. She married Harold Carlson October 11, 1947, in Ballard, Wash.
Ellen worked for 30 years as a retail clerk for various businesses. She was a member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Arlington.
Surviving Ellen is her loving husband of almost 60 years, Harold Carlson, of Arlington; brother, Paul (Birdell) Wangsmo, of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters, Ester Teague, of Arlington, Ruth (Harry) Yost, of Arlington, Sonja (Bill) Hoggarth, of Mt. Lake Terrace, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2007, at Weller Funeral Home, Arlington.
