Geneva Jean M

Geneva Jean M. Thomsen, 74, of Stanwood, Wash., passed away May 6, 2007, in Seattle, Wash.
She was born to Oscar and Bertha Woods in Toledo, Ohio, on Feb. 6, 1933 and graduated from South Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1951. She moved to Seattle in 1959.
Jean was very active in music, playing the Accordion, singing and leading the choir in church. She worked in prison and jail ministries in Tacoma, Wash.
Jean is survived by her husband of 27 years, Daniel; sons, Gary Bryant and Greg Bryant; daughters, Joyce Brown, Janet Queen and Jeanna Fanning; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Woods; sister, Patsy Stickler; eight nephews and one niece.
Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Lee.
A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Chapel of the Resurrection Funeral Home (on the grounds of Cedar Park Church), Bothell, Wash. Private Interment was at Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery, Stanwood.
