Janice Marlene Preheim

Janice Marlene Preheim (Comer), beloved wife, mother, sister and friend went to be with our Lord on Jan. 24, 2007.
Jan was born on July 1, 1943, to Virgil and Lilian Comer of New Rockford, N.D.
They moved to Cathcart, Wash., when she was seven years old where she attended Snohomish schools.
She graduated in 1961 from Snohomish High School. After graduation, she met and married Curtis E. Preheim, Sr., of Monroe, Wash. Jan and Curt stayed in the Snohomish area where they own and operated Electric Furnace Center, Inc., and raised their four children. Jan enjoyed many activities over the years that included golf, bowling, darts, pool, bingo and trips to the casino. Her greatest love and joy was spending time spoiling her grandchildren.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, of 45 years, Curtis E. Preheim Sr; daughters, Candace Burns, and fiancee, Scott Hunter of Snohomish, Caren Oliveira, and husband, Todd of Snohomish; son Curtis E. Preheim Jr, wife, Stacey, of Marysville and very loved Steve Hansen, of Mukilteo, Wash.
She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Colin, Kramer, Brett, Kirstin, Erika and Austin; her sisters and brothers, Patricia teetee Johnson, Dean Comer and wife, Lola, Delmar Comer, Wayne Comer, Bob Comer and wife, Geno, Jaylean Forshee, and husband, Jeff. Jan loved and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Chris Lee.
Jan is preceded in death by her mother and father, Virgil and Lilian Comer; her very loved and missed daughter, Carrie L. Preheim; brother-in-law, Jay Johnson; and nephew, James Jimmy Comer.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 1 p.m., at Christ the King, 1305 Pine Ave., Snohomish. A reception will follow.
