John J. Paluka, 84, of Oso, passed away Feb. 25 in Everett.

He was born May 5, 1932 in Montgomery County, Texas, to Roy and Anna Paluka. He worked in the midwest as a lineman for GTE and then moved to Everett where he worked for Nord Door, retiring in 1995 after 35 years.

He leaves behind his wife, Joan, children Linda (Wes) Ware, Glenda Paluka, Loretta Paluka, Sherri Fisher, Cindy (Kelly) Ferrel, Chris (Brenda) Peters and Darcy (Brent) Steffen, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, sisters Annie Mae and Diane, nieces, nephews and cousins in Texas and dear friend and neighbor Sandy Bradley.

A memorial will be held at the Oso Church on April 8 at 1 p.m.
