Karen Johnstone died in her sleep on Jan. 5, 2007. She was born in Seattle, July 16, 1944, to Paul and Elinor Ostant.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael; six sons; one daughter; two step-sons; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Ostant; sister, Kim (Bob) Delbrouck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and eldest daughter Morgan Hendricksen.
She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and a friend and helper to many.
A memorial service was held at the 92nd St Church of Christ, Marysville at noon, Friday, Jan. 12.
