Karen Michelle Davis

In loving memory of Karen Michelle Davis, who passed away after a brief battle with lung cancer on March 20, 2007.
She was born March 23, 1956 in Burbank, Calif. She graduated from Mission Veijo High School in 1974. Soon after, she moved to the Everett area with her family.
On April 26, 1980 she married Richard N. Davis Jr. They lived in Marysville, Wash., for about 10 years and raised their daughters, Dawn and Bonnie Davis. In 1990, the family moved to the Stanwood, Wash., area where they started a small Friesian Horse breeding ranch. Karen was also active in 4-H and was a member of the King County Horseback Search and Rescue unit. She worked for the city of Everett Parks Department for approximately 26 years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard N. Davis Jr.; her daughters, Dawn M. Davis and Bonnie N. Davis; her parents, Leslie and Davena Hanson; her sisters, Lynne Hallgren of Snohomish, Wash. and Judy Gallagher of Columbus, Ohio.
The memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett, Wash.
